My books help children from all backgrounds to
learn about cultural diversity and good citizenship. 

If you love books written with a flavour of an African voice, then look no further than Gertrude Badejo! 
A children’s author, I produce stories and illustrate books that are honest on the cultural life of the   African Child.  For black children, they’ll see characters that usually talk and behave like them.  Their friends, parents and educators too will appreciate the Black-British cultural nuances in Ajumark juvenile literature.  Other themes that are covered are legal understanding, world citizenship, creativity, languages, and independent thinking. I seek to

• inspire better reading skills,
• confidence in understanding different worldviews, and
• help children to aspire to greater ideals. 

I also author poetry books, inspiration guides and family learning pamphlets.  Occassionally I put together professional literature  or religious materials to support families and carers.
